The Advantages of Using Clorox Bathroom Cleaner with Teflon

Cleaning a bathroom can be challenging especially in a family with young children.

The bathroom is possibly the most used room in the average home, especially if there is only one for a family that includes children. Every mother knows it only takes the average child 5 minutes to leave the previously cleaned room messy and in need of wiping up once again. If there are multiple children in the home, these events occur much more often, and let’s not forget the man of the house who probably doesn’t think about wiping up after himself.

No homemaker wants her family using a bathroom that has soap scum and water stains on the bathroom countertop, but keeping the mess cleaned up can be a real challenge. Clorox has come up with a new product that can be used to keep the bathroom clean longer, and make the cleanup quicker and easier. This is music to the average mother’s ears, but of course she wants to know for sure any new products will not pose a health risk for her family.

Everyone knows how a Teflon coating can prevent food from sticking in cooking pans, but who knew it could be used in a cleaning product? The new and innovative product, Clorox Bathroom Cleaner that deposits a Teflon coating on the hard surfaces in a bathroom not only effectively cleans up the dirt and grime, but prevents new stains and dirt from sticking in the future. Of course, the anti-dirt surface wears off gradually over a few days, but the product leaves a shiny coating when used for cleaning so those surfaces will not need to be cleaned as often.

One particular area of the bathroom that is difficult to clean is the tiles surrounding the bathtub and shower. The grout typically gets stained after just regular use, and it is very hard to renew it to its former color. Mold can also be an issue if soap scum has built up on the tiles because the buildup provides a place for moisture to remain. The Clorox cleaner with Teflon is effective at completely removing all the soap scum and depositing the shiny Teflon coating to prevent stains and molds for a longer time period.

The recommended method of cleaning bathroom tiles in your shower surround is to begin at the top row and spray the cleaner. Allow the cleaner to work for several minutes before using a sponge or brush to remove the soap buildup. Allow gravity to assist you as you work from the top down on each row of tiles. Use a circular motion with some pressure to make sure the grout is also getting completely cleaned. Many bathroom tiles are white with white grout between, so any dirt, soap or mold buildup will be obvious.

This new Clorox Bathroom cleaner is not at all abrasive, so it is safe to use it on any of the hard surfaces in the bathroom, and since it eliminates most of the hard scrubbing, your expensive surfaces are safe. No matter if the top of your vanity and sink is marble or some other stone, this effective cleaner will not harm it or the porcelain of your toilet.

Although the cleaner functions well to prevent future dirt buildup, it does have a few disadvantages. To begin with, the product costs more than most other cleaning products. However, if the product reduces the amount of cleaning needed, it will last at least twice as long as the other cleaners. Although the Clorox cleaner with Teflon does not contain chlorine or other danger chemicals, most users will want to make sure the bathroom is well-ventilated while using it.
