How To Install The IKEA Bathroom Vanities

In order to make the vanities standard plumbing, you will need to make sure that the installation is correct, especially for the water pipe.
First thing to do is to connect the drain, which located under the sink. It is usually a plastic pipe with approximately three centimeters in diameter. Use your hand to fit the P-trap on the drain stem and turn it to clockwise direction to connect them. You can tighten it smoothly with your bare hand so that the plastic will not breaking. Once you are done, place the straight piece of P-trap on the drain connection which located under the vanity. Then you should place the end of P-trap to the drain pipe and connect it tightly.
Meanwhile for the water supply, keep in mind that you need to turn off all of the water supply to the house before you start to install it. After this, you can place the standard braided of water supply on the cold water connection under the sink. Tighten the connection with wrench tightly to make sure it will not leak. Do the same with the hot water connection as well.
Once you are done, connect the supply pipes on the back side of the vanity, then connect each water supply to the main water pipe, the cold water on the right side and the hot water on the left side.
